EVENT
Winter Wonders at the Waterworks Museum
February 23, 2023
11:00am–3:00pm
Drop in on 2/23 between 11am and 3pm to explore ice and snow at the Waterworks Museum!
Engineer different snowflake shapes out of pipe cleaners, then try your hand at using geometric shapes to create snowflakes. Learn about how salt alters the freezing point of water first-hand at our water tables, and take a closer look at the water cycle as you make a Lifecycle of a Snowman spinner.
At 12:30pm, join us as we demonstrate the effects of road salt on drinking water supplies using our watershed model.
It’ll be snow much fun!
