The Science of Rainbows

June 25, 2022

10:00 am–2:00 pm

Drop in between 10am and 2pm to celebrate Pride with our Museum Educators on Saturday, June 25th as we explore the science behind rainbows and learn about the history of the rainbow flag. See refraction in action as you make rainbows of your own with prisms and spray bottles, listen to a read aloud of “Sewing The Rainbow: The Story of Gilbert Baker and The Rainbow Flag” at 12:30pm, and make your own rainbow flag watercolor paintings and terrariums to take home! These offerings are recommended for ages 5+ and are free of charge.
