Calling all teachers!
The Metropolitan Waterworks Museum invites you to discover the programs and activities we offer for field trips and in-class visits.
Drop in any time between 5pm and 7pm on March 25th to explore the museum, try some of our program-exclusive hands-on activities, and meet our Education Staff.
You can also enter our drawing for a FREE FIELD TRIP!
Light Refreshments and Beverages will be provided.
The Waterworks Museum is located at
2450 Beacon Street, Chestnut Hill, MA.
There is limited free parking available behind and beside the museum or, it is a short walk from the Cleveland Circle (Green- C Line) or Reservoir (Green – D Line) stations.

Moving Water: From Ancient Innovations to Modern Challenges
Ancient civilizations engineered water systems that sustained communities for thousands of years. This exhibition spotlights six places that innovated ways to deliver, and control water for human use. It also looks at how climate change is impacting all of those places, forcing public officials to consider new ways to keep the water flowing.
