EVENT
Preschool Summer Series: Keeping Water Safe and Clean
July 8, 2021
10:00 am–10:45 am
Join Waterworks Museum education staff live at the museum to learn how water is kept safe and clean.
First, we will read “Cutie Sue Fights the Germs.” Then we will compare the tools we use to fight germs in our own homes to the tools the waterworks uses to fight germs in the water system. We will then decorate our own “Chlorine Shields.”
Finally, we will play a game where we use various tools – including our shields – to “fight the germs” and keep our water system safe and clean. This program is recommended for ages 3-6.
Cost: $5 per participant. Each participant may be accompanied by up to two adults for no additional charge. In accordance with the Governor’s latest mask advisory, face coverings for this event are only required for those over two years of age who have not yet been vaccinated.
To see more sessions in this series, check Thursdays at 10 am on our events calendar June through August.
