10am Doors open. Free admission, but donations are welcome! Sample the special Gingerbread Clif Bar courtesy of Clif Bar & Co..
10:30-11am Story time. Spend a few minutes listening to a holiday tale!
11am-12pm Decorate gingerbread cookies courtesy of Verrill Farm of Concord.
12:30-1:15pm Hear the Wellesley College Tupelos sing a few holiday favorites!
1:15-2pm Docent tours: learn more about the history of the Waterworks.
2pm Guest Lecture “Sugar and Spice: Gingerbread History” with Clara Silverstein of Historic Newton.
3:30pm-5pm Docent tours: learn more about the history of the Waterworks.

Moving Water: From Ancient Innovations to Modern Challenges
Ancient civilizations engineered water systems that sustained communities for thousands of years. This exhibition spotlights six places that innovated ways to deliver, and control water for human use. It also looks at how climate change is impacting all of those places, forcing public officials to consider new ways to keep the water flowing.
