Preschool Summer Series: What’s an Engineer?

Join the Metropolitan Waterworks Museum’s education staff to learn what it takes to be an engineer!

First, we will read “Rosie Revere, Engineer.” Then, we will learn about some simple machines by exploring the museum’s Great Engines Hall. Finally, we will create our own simple machines. Recommended for ages 3-6.

Cost $5 per participant. All participants may be accompanied by up to two adults at no additional charge. In accordance with the Governor’s latest mask advisory, face coverings for this event are only required for those over two years of age who have not yet been vaccinated.
