July 22, 2021
10:00 am–10:45 am
Join Waterworks Museum education staff live at the museum as we learn about the different animals that call the Chestnut Hill Reservoir home.
First, we will read “Just Ducks.” Next, we will learn about some of the different animals that live around the reservoir. Then, we will go on a nature scavenger hunt. Finally, we will make our own animal masks. This program is recommended for ages 3-6.
Cost: $5 per participant. All participants may be accompanied by up to two adults at no additional charge. All visitors over 2 years of age must wear a face covering for the duration of their visit.
To see more sessions in this series, check Thursdays at 10 am on our events calendar June through August.

Moving Water: From Ancient Innovations to Modern Challenges
Ancient civilizations engineered water systems that sustained communities for thousands of years. This exhibition spotlights six places that innovated ways to deliver, and control water for human use. It also looks at how climate change is impacting all of those places, forcing public officials to consider new ways to keep the water flowing.
