Nearly 1,000 Visitors at Waterworks Free Fun Friday!

#FreeFunFridays A Hit!

It was nothing short of spectacular for the Waterworks on Friday, July 14! Not only did the rain hold off, but the museum set a one-day attendance record of almost 1,000 visitors!

The museum staff, volunteers, and board members were thrilled with the turnout and can’t thank the Highland Street Foundation enough for sponsoring the Free Fun Fridays program.

Our programs were designed to delight and introduce Greater Boston to the amazing legacy of scientific discovery and engineering innovation that is the Waterworks! With that in mind, everyone from the EPA Region 1 Mobile Water Lab to the Steam Machines of Todd Cahill to the Splashtones and their amazing water organ, the Hydraulophone, made the day a memorable one.

Here are a few snaps of the fun…We look forward to hosting you next year!
