Free Fun Fridays at the Waterworks

2016 A Great Success!

Over 500 visitors at the Metropolitan Waterworks Museum!

We had an amazing day on August 12 with #FreeFunFridays! More than 500 visitors to the Waterworks joined us for a fun, wet day diving into something we all need – water!

The Waterworks is very pleased to have partnered with the Highland Street Foundation and Rockland Trust on Free Fun Fridays and we thank them for their generous support of our program!

Here are some scenes from the day:

Brian McNulty (L) and Noreen McMahon (R) join Waterworks ED Barbara Elfman (C) to kick of Free Fun Fridays!

Educator Sara Clarke-Vivier shows off her Sink/Float experiment for the day.

Engineer Erasmus Leavitt (aka Dir of Operations Eric Peterson) takes a sip from his #SeeMoreSummer water bottle on a hot August day!

New, specially designed coloring pages get families closer to the historic architecture and engineering of the Waterworks!

Mr. Leavitt and our dear Victorian Lady say “Farewell!” to a special Free Fun Fridays at the Waterworks.
